StrongCo was an underappreciated public company with two large family minority shareholders requiring a recapitalization but the stakeholders could not agree on an approach.
The business was also completing an operational restructuring that had not yet been recognized and rewarded by the market.
Crosbie was hired by the Special Committee of the Board to run a confidential sale process and help navigate the complex stakeholder dynamics.
Targeted international sale process produced a highly attractive sale transaction priced at an 80% premium to StrongCo’s pre-announcement share price.
